Little Clam always wants to be in the middle of the action. When his Mom decided to upgrade Weezie's sleeping arrangements recently, she confiscated the day bed from Nonna's sleeping porch. Mame felt a "big girl" bed might resolve Weezie's new reluctance to sleep in her own room. Plus the trundle bed would be available for a sleep over with Mom, Dad, Little Clam or a neighborhood friend. Meanwhile, the day bed would provide a safe "play perch" for Weezie when Little Clam proved to be a pest. Here he comes, with his little chimpanzee scuttle, to investigate the new bed.
Here is Weezie on her "play perch" while Little Clam considers his options.

Who has the heart to ignore Little Clam? We pull out the trundle, he gets a leg up and just like that, he is back in the middle of the action.
The perch is breached. Little Clam has a view from the top of the world.

Weezie is all smiles. She likes to be the big sister, but she loves Little Clam and seems happiest when he is happy too. Her socialization skills are strong. She will share her perch.

wow! I like the new format. I apologize for Weezie's colorless new room, but she is sleeping through the night (or at least until Little Clam awakens at 6 a.m.) in it, and for that I will not apologize.
