Love Made Visible*

Mame sent me another of Weezie's drawings. This one (for those who have visual or cognitive skill impairments) is of a backhoe or digger or clamshell digger. Clam is crazy for construction equipment, especially diggers and cranes. Weezie points them out to him wherever they go. She is a good big sister. Clam is slavishly devoted to her although he sometimes chafes at her bossiness. If you have not attempted to draw a clear, recognizable picture on one of these etch/sketch contraptions recently, may I point out that it is not easy. The pictures quickly smudge and run. Jiggle this little contraption and poof!  Your creation vanishes.  I am in awe of how carefully this is done. A lot of love here. Thank you for sending, Mame.
