Posting to a web log is not easy. I thought it would be: create the site; post some pictures of Weezie, my beautiful baby granddaughter; add a few clever captions, perhaps an occasional paragraph. Create a journal for Weezie to read when she is older. Nothing to it. Except I seem to have developed a condition that feels like a blend of stage fright and writer's block. I select pictures, add captions, write a few thoughts, then save them as drafts. Three days later I reread and determine what I have written is drivel. Delete and begin again. Meanwhile I prowl other blogs, they are well written, provocative, worth reading. These writers are adding a special dimension to the internet. They put time and thoughtful effort into their words and images. This is not what I had in mind. Will Weezie be disappointed when she learns to read and discovers that Nonna was a blogging slacker?

You have nothing to fear, and besides, Eva loves everything you do (except make her daddy cry, she hates that).
Ah, there's the problem, saving things as drafts. Progress is forward; never look back! Also, quantity over quality. Those are my philosophies, anyway.
More seriously, you're a smart, interesting woman, and I look forward to what you have to say.
Sage advice, Kelly. Done with dithering, moving on (literally). Will be on site next week to get more pix. Thanks for your encouragement, it means a lot, especially coming from a sophisticate like you!
