The tie-dye clan also contains a psychiatrist, an internal med g.p., an attorney, a jet pilot, a budding astrophysicist and more, all dangerous people.

This is the pacifist clan. They are communicators and make their living with words (or bullets, depending on circumstance).

This is the largest clan. Some are missing, apparently by choice. Others are happily mingling.

This is one of the drop-outs, your cousin Tom with his son and mom. They are mingling separately.
These are the communicators again. One clan is missing (besides ours) so I am including this one twice. None of these photos would have been taken without the thoughtfulness of this clan's matriarch. So there they are, grandchildren, a huge chunk of the family tree in all their dubiously disfunctional glory. Next year, perhaps you will be ready to play tag, or hide and seek, or simon says, or drop the hankie, or statue, or other childhood games with a few of your cousins. Time will tell, but perhaps more young people will attend and bring children. I hope you have the opportunity to get to know your extended family better. They are interesting, intelligent people and most of them have a story or two to tell you.
