It is good to know where you come from, ninos, and thanks to Cousin Sal the family attorney, you had a close look at part of your mama's family tree. More specifically, the paternal portion of your nonna's family tree.

No picnic is complete without watermelon. Daddy and Aunt Sandy understand this and are instructing Weezie in the art of forkless watermelon consumption. A class in seed spitting will be held next year. It appears your mama opted for cake. She has been referred to Remedial Picnic Protocol class for a brush-up.
Little Clam takes it all in. He studies everything we do but so far has not commented. Next year will likely be a little different and I plan to include his feedback in these pages.
