"Anything You Can Do . . . "

Weezie painted this flower, sometime after I posted a painting Mame had done at age four. It is similar to Mame's bouquet, but lovely all on its own. Mame's art was so original, so fresh, like many children until she started kindergarten and was shoehorned into the green-tree, red-globe-apple school of art. Sad to say, but I did not understand what we were losing at the time. Montessori instruction (for Clam also when he starts this Fall) may help Weezie to avoid all that. In the meantime, she could do worse than to imitate her mom's early efforts.
