While you were scouring your apartment for Easter Bunny goodies, grandchildren, I was on my way to Easter Brunch at Uncle Judd and Aunt Sandy's place. They were busy preparing a tasty breakfast/lunch for company. Uncle Cole was helping out in the kitchen too.

A little friend was waiting for your Cousin EM on her napping bed.

Hmm, a bunny wearing bunny slippers.

Aunt Sandy set up food stations around the house. Here she has deviled eggs with olives and a lemon blueberry coffee cake.

In the kitchen she had wonderful potatoes au gratin and a selection of ingredients for do-it-yourself omelets. I shared Uncle Judd's omelet and it was delicious!

Here Uncle Judd is telling EM a story about the Easter Bunny coming to visit his house when he was just a little boy.

Now EM is telling Uncle Judd a story about the Easter Bunny who visited her house earlier that morning.

What good stories you both tell!

EM loves her purple ball.

Uh oh! Losing air.

Little help down here please! Someone?

Uncle Cole to the rescue.

Time to open Easter bags. Guess what, no candy! Just some new underwear, a tradition that continues past childhood. Guess you could call this eye candy.

Uhm, I thought I mentioned I don't wear thongs?

Owwie, tummy ache (me too, EM, I ate way too much).
Notice that EM has a Paris dress just like yours, Weezie. She is ready to come visit you when you move to Paris. She also has some multi-colored sparkling sandals which you would like.

Mom makes it all better.

EM's dad is waiting for a stiff breeze to try out the pinwheel.

Aunt Sandy takes a break. Everyone has feasted and so she is temporarily off duty.

Which means Uncle Judd is springing into action as the pots and pans man!
What a guy!

And a very good time was had by all!
