Weezie's dad was the official photo guy at her birthday party yesterday. I am the stealth camera person (the annoying amateur who sometimes gets in the way of the real shot) but it is hard to resist capturing the unaware shooter. He takes a lot of photographs in his work, so I guess he no longer qualifies as an amateur. His work appears in several publications and on the family blog (which I have not linked here for nonna-type internet security reasons.) The children at the party were experienced subjects, they relaxed without posing and peered into the camera or not as they pleased. It was a wonderful party.
