Bookin' It

Weezie and I hit the local library just about every week. She has an appreciation for the power of words, and a huge appetite for storybooks. We read them, first at the library to make sure they meet our standards, then again at home and yet again with Mom or Dad, over and over until she begins to remember the words and can tell us the story. Books are checked out for three weeks, and we are now checking out fifteen or twenty at a time. Yum!

Here you are, Weezie, previewing one of your choices. Your tastes are becoming more critical with each visit. At first you plucked any book within reach, but now you look them over more carefully.

Your taste runs to strong primary colors and bold action tales. You also favor glitz and dazzle. Not yet a book critic, you know what you like, and books that miss the mark at home do not merit a second reading.

Oops, caught me snapping you. Snickering at Nonna's stealthy efforts to gather material for her blog has now put an end to this photo shoot. Let's go read some books to Little Clam.
