No Longer at this Address

The young couple who live in the AZ house have won me over with their love of the desert. He is a landscape designer and is fluffing up my scruffy natural landscaping with healthy indigenous plants. He has redone the entry way to provide a safer, healthier environment for their daughter, Livia to play outdoors. Very nice. My rickety board and block steps have been replaced with this solid workmanship. No snakes hiding under these blocks!
Greg and Laura have created an inviting patio area in the best possible location. We sat here on a warm summer day and enjoyed the views. The desert is still green and lovely, even in late July. A good year for plants, wildlife and people.

Greg did a great job of rounding the corner. I have earlier photos for comparison, but take my word, he has made a huge improvement here, functionally and aesthetically. They relocated the hitching rail to the front which makes sense. We brought horses up from below, but now any horses are likely to be visitors. This made room for the play set around back, something Livia uses daily. Smart moves all around.
