Weezie! Thank you for going to the ballet with me! I had a good time and you were great fun! Let's go again next year. Your mom's friend and neighbor was the instigator, she found tickets and organized the expedition. You wore a beautiful silk dress from Grandma K with a smart grey wool coat and scarf from Grandma Bling (she bought it when you were still in your mom's tummy, it's drop dead gorgeous). If your mom can send me one of the pictures she took of you that day, I will add it here.Of course all the little girls and their moms and grandmothers were fabulously attired, it was a gala winter fashion show. The music was lovely, we got to peek at the musicians in the orchestra pit. And oh, Weezie, remember the stage settings, how colorful and elegant. The costumes of the dancers, all new this year, were stunning. The beautiful Snow Queen and so many ballerinas in colorful gowns and long tutus, you could not take your eyes from the stage. I vacillated from watching the dancers to looking at you. What a wonderful afternoon. Thank you Jules, Weezie's co-grandma, for making this happen. And Little Clam, don't feel left out, you and I will find some things we like to do when you are just a little older, definitely by summer.
