"I miss you, GG . . . "

Weezie at three years three months. A great shot, courtesey of her Grandma Bling.

Memories of GG are fading, but we plan to visit in late April or early May and renew the friendships. Little Clam will be delighted. GG has great appeal for children, perhaps because they sense the active child in her and also because they know instinctively that she would not hurt them. EM seems drawn to GG as was Weezie at that age. Weezie would toddle shyly to her, link her hand around GG's little finger and draw her slowly into the play room where they would commence their playing. GG cannot make her mind and words do her bidding so well these days, and her knees don't allow her to drop to the floor and clamber up again, but her eyes still shine with pleasure and her hands reach out to the little ones.

Thanks, Gerri. Weezie is as sweet as her picture, she melts my heart. Little Clam is feisty, he can be a little handful. As for the old photos, it seems important to write these histories while I can remember them. I remember pictures on your wall, the questions that came to mind, no one left to answer. Fascinating stories, slipping away. With GG's memory fading so quickly, we have almost no one left to answer questions. So I am scanning and writing as fast as I can, and happy to have the readership.
