Today I finally got around to unpacking that box of your momma's childhood treasures, ninos, those games and puzzles and books she enjoyed back in the 1970's and '80's. Your GG also packed a box of stuffed animals, little friends who shared Mame's secrets and her bed in the early years. Pink Giraffe, minus an eye now and little BunBun were among the first to arrive. Here they enjoy a few moments of sunshine before going back in the box, headed for Goodwill.

The Klieban cat was a later arrival. He enjoyed center of pillow in his day.

These are only a few from your mama's collection, but their worn and smudged exteriors are clear evidence of the hugs and love they enjoyed. Hard to guess at the time which of many toys will be chosen as special companions. So long little buddies, you were the best.
