We visit the beauty shop about every five weeks now. The experience has evolved from tearful trauma to keeping a cautious eye on the image in the mirror. Meagan cuts hair fast and skillfully. She has a way with children. When she's finished, we usually go for hot chocolate or ice cream. It's become a ritual. Except last time, when Weezie just wanted to go home. Maybe she is letting me know she doesn't need to be bribed to get her hair cut.
