Guess What He Wants to Be Next Year?

Halloween 2009 and Little Clam is a Tiger. Grrrr! Mom is taking him to see the firetruck on display (gotta love those fire fighters, they turn out when you ask them, don't they?) at the neighborhood Halloween party in the park.
Check out that tiger face paint courtesy of the dad. The kitty cat tongue is LC's however. So is the GRRRRRR!!! He has tiger ears and a tail but they were hard to keep attached.

Mame told the firemen (no firewomen that day) that LC loved firetrucks, better than dump trucks or garbage trucks even, and they lifted him up into the compartment where the fighters ride to the fire. He had been in there all by himself for about five minutes, and they were peeking in to see what was going on. Picture quality is poor but you can make LC out.

Clam was looking out the window all that time, not making a sound. No siren imitations, no nothing, just gazing out the window.

He was so still and solemn. I wondered if he was picturing himself riding in the truck or even driving it. Clam talks a little, sometimes a lot, but for this event he was silent.

This firefighter had to break the bad news, "Time to get down, son. Make room for some other visitors." Clam didn't say anything, and eventually he came to the door to be lifted down.

He didn't want to leave.

Mame had to wrestle him to the ground and haul him away. But I think that firetruck has to be one of his best adventures. So far.
