Let's Go Back in Time to 2011
Okay kids, I have a new computer, and I am adding pictures new and old. With this laptop I am able to store lots more photos and add stories to this blog. Telling you the story of your childhood as you grow up, stories about your family in the old days, that's what this blog is about. We have a gap in time from 2011 when you moved to Paris until right now, a gap that I will try to bridge with a series of entries. I am also posting stories about what is happening now, so we will be jumping back and forth in time. The stories are all about you, your family, things that effect you, so you continue to be the stars of this blog. Here goes . . .
The year is 2011. Weezie is five and Clam is three in this picture, taken in Arlington, VA about six months before the Paris move. Weezie, you are riding a little bicycle your dad gave you and Clam, you are sitting on the little three-wheeler I sent you a year or so ago. You are living in what I think of as the "Montessori apartment" that your mom created for the three of you when she and your dad moved into separate apartments in 2010. It will be some time after this picture when you learn to ride scooters and trikes, striders and bikes, skateboards and ... who knows. Your lives are just beginning to unfold in an interesting, productive manner. Somehow your mom, who never ceases to amaze me in the most positive ways, has turned life's lemons into a fascinating interlude, sipping lemonade in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Anyway, these pictures are part of picking up where I left off with my stories back in 2011. Aren't you beautiful, ninos.
