This story is about you, Weezie. I took these pictures the day we went to the haircut place at your old home in the northwest, the day I realized you were content to have your haircut without special treatment or support mechanisms (except maybe your sea creatures cape). You took the event calmly, just like the big girl you were becoming. I noticed how you watched your image and Meghan as she clipped away. That's a big girl thing, studying our reflection in the mirror.
Meghan was our favorite operator. She gave the very best haircuts, shaped to your head and styled to your face. She also was the most fun and always seemed glad to see you.
See how you learned to tilt your head the way Meghan requested? That's another big girl thing, a good sign that you were learning to follow directions. I notice you are still peeking at the mirror, hah!
