Weezie wanted me to have some spending money when I got home. She and Clam dumped their metal piggy bank, filled Weezie's little coin holder and placed it carefully in a small side pocket of my suitcase. Weezie asked how I planned to spend their gift. We decided it could be spent any number of ways, from parking meter money to tea cakes at the local tea room. I also promised to save some of it for a rainy day (a concept not easy to explain to toddlers when they are giving you their rainy day savings). I ran across the coin holder recently as I was readying my travel bags for storage. But it's got me thinking, what's the first thing I will buy with my spending money?
