Easter Past

In 2010 I was visiting you, grandchildren, when Easter came along on the calendar. It was a lovely warm Spring (compared to chilly 2011) and your momma decided to take us on an outing to the Bunny Farm. In addition to seeing lop-eared bunnies, fuzzy Spring lambs and goats and fluffy baby chicks, we sampled several rides geared for toddlers (you were two and four years old then).

Here you are "riding" a kiddie express train. Probably looks tame to you now, but it seemed pretty cool at the time.  We played here for a long time.

"All aboard."

Weezie wanted to ride the ponies. Clam wanted to watch and help me take a picture.

Weezie asked for a palomino (also her mom's favorite when she was little) but we had to settle for a pinto. She was way more excited than I could capture in a photograph. Weezie is the queen of cool, but she fills up with bubbles of happiness.

Weezie also got to bounce on the bouncer thing.
She was a very graceful dancer more than an exuberant bouncer.
But she liked it and didn't want to quit when her time was up.

She watched the big girls to get some pointers, but she was never afraid.

Didn't take long for Weezie to be in the middle of everything.

We wrapped the day with a stop at the park, always a favorite way to unwind.
