Pool Fun

We will be playing in the water this summer, ninos, when you come to visit me.  It will be fun, and I am hoping you will continue to improve your swimming skills while you are here.  Meanwhile, I was thinking of all the time your mom spent playing in her pool when she was about your age.  Here she is practice-playing Horse with her friend Cindy riding on her shoulders.  Horse is played with several horse-and-rider teams who try to dunk one another.  It requires a sturdy "horse" and an agile, strong "rider" to prevail.  It makes me happy to look at this picture and think of you being here with me in a month or so.
