Remembering Earlier Visits

A little less than a month remains before you and your mom arrive for your annual visit, ninos.  I can hardly wait I am so excited to see you.  I have been reviewing old pictures, looking for things we did together that we might like to do again.

In August 2010, the year before you moved to Paris, you came for a visit.  Clam was nearly four and Weezie was almost six.  Your cousin EM was three and a half. Your cousin M2 was still in the planning stage.   And your Aunt Sandy and I were four years younger than we are now!

Here you all are at a sculpting class in the local Art Museum.  Aunt Sandy arranged for us to attend.  It was a fun hour of creativity and self-expression.

The Art Museum provided the materials and some ideas for projects.  You were absorbed in your work, exploring sculpted objects only you could see in the primitive clay.

EM gave her clay quite a workout.  It was a fun afternoon.

The Art Museum is being remodeled this summer, so we won't be taking art classes here this year.  The pictures are just fun to look at and help us remember the day.  Thanks, Aunt Sandy for a creative building block and a fun time.  We'll find things to do this year also.
