2008 Winter Play

This is a picture from last winter, 2007-2008. Weezie. You were a little more than two years old, and Clam was still a baby. This may have been taken just before we started going to the shop for haircuts. In years to come, whenever Nonna or your parents offer to trim your bangs, you can use this picture to fuel your refusal, "No thanks, Nonna, I'll wait until we can get to the beauty shop, thanks anyway."

You loved to stack your blocks here in the playroom at your beautiful Spokane Craftsman home, and then swipe them down. You also enjoyed your little kitchen from Grandpa and Grandma Bling, it was complete with sink, cupboards, microwave, oven and rangetop. Amazing!

The playroom had colorful posters on the wall filled with letters and pictures. You learned everything we took the time to teach you, soaked it all in and wanted more. A little bear from Granny Bear (one of your mom's grandmothers) is on the floor behind you.  GG spent many hours sitting on the floor in the playroom with you.  That's not easy for an old (84+) person but she was as happy as you were in that playroom.

Kermit the Frog gets into the act. We learned to do a pretty good impersonation of him without ever watching Sesame Street (no TV in those early days). Wonder what you thought the first time you were at someone's house with the TV on and Kermit appeared. Did you think he was impersonating your frog?
