On my way back to your old home in the Northwest,
ninos, I stopped to see your GG and Uncle Judd and Aunt Sandy. While I was there we all went to visit your Auntie Brit and Uncle Mike and your cousin EM. (You remember when you stayed with them in May on our way to the summerhouse. Little Clam and EM played together for the first time. EM was about fourteen months and LC was almost nineteen months). These pictures were taken in early September, before the leaves began to turn red and brown and yellow. The pictures show some of the changes Brit and Mike have made to their back yard since you were here. They like to entertain, and EM likes to play. You will enjoy their yard when you come to visit next time.

EM was excited to see everyone. GG liked sitting in the warm sun.

That's Mollie in front and Bullet on the left. EM is about to start wheedling her Pop
(Uncle Judd to you,
ninos) to come and play.

Mike has created a chess board patio where the play set once was. He is the designer, looks like Auntie Brit is shovel power.

Lots of new landscaping.

New location of the play set. GG is still basking in that warm sunshine.

EM loves to play in this yard. Remember that beautiful tree? It's a little taller than the one GG and Mame used to climb in GG's back yard, but not by much. Whatcha think, Mame?

I included this picture because I like the look on Mike and Britney's faces. You can make up your own caption, but I picture them saying things such as "You what?" or maybe "You want us to what?" You may include your suggestions in the comments section.

I think Brit was saying "Not now, EM. Mommy will help you rearrange furniture later."

"Of course I will play with you!"

"EM! Come back! I thought you wanted to play."
And what a great yard it is to play in. I can't wait for you to come for a visit, grandchildren. You and EM will have a lot of fun. I might even have fun too.
