Agile Auntie Erin

This is another saga from the summer of 2009, ninos. Auntie Erin lived nearby and often visited on weekends. The summer house had a big trampoline and Erin had experience. My camera could not capture her acrobatics without blurring, but you may remember, grandchildren, seeing her turn somersaults and land lightly, gracefully on the taut surface (I held my breath but then I am no acrobat.) Mostly you just had fun together which I think these pictures capture. Thank you, Auntie E. for being there for these children and their mom.

Auntie Erin sets some ground rules.
Trampolines are great fun but inexperienced users have been known to get hurt.
Auntie E made sure that did not happen to you.

The first few bounces; Weezie and Clam get the idea right away.

Erin cushioned her landings to avoid catapulting Weezie and Clam into the bushes.
They were blissfully ignorant of any hazards, just trying to stand up and get in a few bounces before they fell again.

Erin encouraging Weezie.

More encouragement.

Look at me! I'm standing. Look, quick!

You didn't look quick enough.

What do you mean it's time to get off?
(Nonna is always the bad news breaker.)
Actually I took the kids off to allow Erin some "me time."
She could not safely do any real jumping with them on the mat.
They liked to watch her let go and do a real work-out.
Thanks again for the fun time, Auntie E.
